Day 1
Check-in at a hotel in Rivarolo, the “Stage City” of the 2022 Giro d’Italia for the stage that goes up to Cogne that offers harmony, good food and outdoor life in close contact with nature in a familiar and comfortable atmosphere.
Free afternoon to discover the most fascinating places in the area. We recommend a visit to the center of Rivarolo Canavese which is located in the Canavese plain, do not miss the Castle of Malgrà of medieval origin to continue along the Via Maestra with its arcades and shops.
Evening dedicated to the tasting of the excellent beers of a well-known local producer at his brewery, an excellent excuse to accompany the delicious burgers created with fresh bread from a well-known bakery in the area that uses km0 flours and stuffed with all the specialties of the area such as excellent minced meat and cheeses aged in the Canavese valleys, or to enjoy the delicious vegetarian version.
Return to the hotel and overnight stay.
Day 2
Rich breakfast at the hotel.
Day on the pedals, in the clouds. So in the saddle towards the Gran Paradiso Park. Between roads closed to traffic, the Canavese, the land of two wheels, is a real nursery for cyclists. The Serrù is the enchantment that welcomes and the effort is not lacking. The 71km route with an elevation gain of 2,522m starts from Rivarolo Canavese to tackle a first stretch of plain through Ozegna, Castellamonte and Cuorgnè up to Locana. The road is always slightly uphill but with gentle slopes. Continue to Noasca and after a series of hairpin bends with challenging slopes and then return almost flat again. The arrival in Ceresole Reale and the beautiful view of the lake prepare for the last part of the climb. After a short stretch on the flat, the last 15 km really challenging begin. Arrived at Lake Serrù, finish line of the 13^ stage of the Giro d’Italia 2019. The last kilometers remain, 5.5 km before reaching the Colle del Nivolet.

Transfer to Settimo Vittone among the heroic vines that give the excellent wines of the area, such as Nebbiolo and Carema.
Lunch at the farmhouse will be a further confirmation of what these lands with their culinary traditions have wisely handed down.
