A day exploring Ivrea, a protagonist of great history since ancient times. we will learn firsthand about adriano olivetti’s great social factory project, with absolutely exclusive entrances to industrial settings and private homes, and we will also discover the fascinating history of ancient Ivrea, the quarrels between the var world and the great king Arduino, the kings of italy, violet’s rebellion and…. an excellent Canavese lunch awaits us, followed by a short tour to discover the sacred area of Ivrea, or rather , Eporedia. We will end the day at the gardens, right in front of Balla Bakery, to enjoy a slice of the prestigious 900 cake.
Departure from Turin at 8:00 am. Arrive in Ivrea at 09:30 and meet the guide at Ivrea station for the tour. During the first stop, exclusive visits will be made to the Red Brick Factory, Social Services Library, Ico Workshops, Study Center and Residential Building; followed by the Castellamonte neighborhood with the West Residential Unit known as “Talponia.” At 1:30 p.m. Canavese lunch at a restaurant.
